Cortijo Las Minas

JANUARY - We are back again, after a short break for a couple of weeks, we have been open since the 7th of January, but unfortunately the weather is not letting us work as usual. It has been raining for the last two months, we love the rain and we need it, but the outdoor school has been constantly flooded, every time it dries enough to use it rains again, so we aren't able to work horses or do lessons in the school.

All we can do is hack out in the country, which is very muddy, the horses are full of energy from not being able to go out in the field, which makes it difficult to hack out safely.

WINTER -  For the moment it's cold and the forecast is for more rain. We hope to start our regular Sunday Pony Mornings again on the 25th of January, weather permitting.

CHANGE OF TIMETABLE - From the 21st of December onwards our opening times in the afternoons will be from 16.00 to 19.00h, last reservation at 17.00h. 

We look forward to welcoming all our clients, regular riders and visitors to Cortijo Las Minas, equestrian centre, for all types of equestrian activities from pony rides to full day rides. 

Cortijo Las Minas normally opens from Tuesday to Sunday, for individual and group lessons, pony rides, hacking by the hour, half and full day trail rides for up to a maximum of 6 people at one time. 

We are lucky to live and work in the countryside, surrounded by Nature and able to share our lives with animals, we invite all our clients, pupils and friends to come and enjoy the freedom of the country.

OPENING TIMES AND RESERVATION:  our opening times are from 09.00h to 14.00h and from 16.00h to 19.00h Tuesday to Sunday. We work with a reservation system, please book in advance for your required activity. We have changed our reservation policy, we now only accept prepaid reservations for all activities. If you have reserved and then wish to change the date or time of your reservation you will only be able to do so if you make the change at least 24 h in advance.
